Pissed off because I wanted to spend my fucking saturday playing Empire total war and not dicking around with some bullshit fuckin glitch. I have tried these solutions: Verifying game cache, Deleting TAR, un/reinstalling ETT, deleting all ETT files from the "common" folder. The loading screens pops up, the musics plays for a half a second, glitches out like youre mashing the play/ pause button, then the game kills itself instantly with an altf4. It happens in the exact same time frames too. But as soon as I hit a button that causes the game to load the world/ battle. Anytime, regardless if I tried to load the game in TAR or ETW, I would get through the copyright loading screen, past the cinematic, onto the main menu, with NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER! I can dick around with my graphics settings, I can change whatever the hell I want. Now this is the bullshit and its quite pissing me off. Closed the game and today I wanted to play it again. Anyways, had to do stuff because, ya know, life. Very minor bugs like the sounds of muskets being reloaded where waaaaay too loud and could be heard no matter the camera angle/ position, just sound/ audio bugs like that. Playing the mod yesterday I noticed some annoying things would happen during battles. I also installed the latest patch from January. So I downloaded The American Revolution mod off of ModDB. Yesterday I decided I wanted to replay it again but I wanted a nice mod.
